It’s rare these days in our industry that you can say that you have a supplier that has kept to all the promises that were made at the sales pitch.

How many times have you had a rep that promises you the earth only to be let down once you have agreed to go ahead with their product.

One of the exceptions to this is SMART, it has transformed the way we do business, our turnover has gone up 25%, I could operate with at least one less member of staff, and life is just so much more relaxing.

We use Planit to do our plans and then transfer the data over to SMART it then produces our quotes in 5 to 10 minutes and then when we get the order it only takes minutes to get the order off to the suppliers. This has saved us about 2 to 3 hours per order.

Nothing is too much trouble for SMART, problems are resolved within hours, we get new price lists straight away and we can add our own price lists if we want to.

Because we now have all our stock on SMART we are actually getting rid of all our old stock, mistaken orders, returned stock and cock-up’s, all of which we forgot we had and got put to the back of the warehouse.

One of the things I found important when I purchased SMART was that the owner also has a very successful retail kitchen business so they know what a kitchen studio is looking for and it’s not just computer boffins creating a program they think a kitchen studio would need.
